Tony Buff

Don't let the youthful appearance and disarming smile fool you because when it comes to BDSM, this 38-year-old Italian-American is recognized as one of the heaviest players on the national scene. Born in Pittsburgh , PA in 1970, Tony was raised in southern California and joined the Marine Corps at age 17 after graduating high school then studied philosophy and political science at California State University, Long Beach.

Tony now lives in Seattle , WA where he works as a Trainer, frequently traveling to demonstrate and teach BDSM skills throughout the United States and Canada in addition to co-authoring a regular column for Instigator Magazine with his collared boy Derek da Silva. He began performing in what he refers to as ‘Art Films’ with the production of Soldiers of Misfortune, directed by GayVN Hall of Fame Director and leather/Sm community legend, Daddy Zeus in which Tony delivers one of the most intense beatings ever captured on film, to his collared boy Derek. His debut performance, however, came in the September 2007 release of Titan Media’s Fear, part of the ‘Titan/Folsom’ co-branded line of Leather/Sm features in association with Folsom Street Events.

As an exclusive performer with Titan Media, Tony quickly distinguished himself within the industry, earning 2009 GayVN Award nominations for Best Actor (Home Invasion) and Best Fetish Performer. A well-known player and leader within the Leather/Sm community, he brings a level of authenticity to hardcore fetish play like no other. From his signature suspended waterboarding scene in the GAYVN award-winning film Fear, to his breakout performance and codirecting of Blu-ray™ mega-hit Folsom Prison, Tony steals the screen whenever he appears. With less than two years in the industry Tony was tapped by Titan to continue his exclusive contract through the launch of a new line of R.A.C.K. (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) inspired films in which he will perform and co-direct with GayVN award winning videographer, Paul Wilde.

But it's his passion for the Sadomasochistic arts that has made him a recognized activist and leader in his local community. In addition to teaching workshops, performing demos and helping out with various fundraising events, Tony served as Washington State Mr Leather in 2002. He now servers as Chaplain to the Board of Generic Leather Productions of Washington (http://glpw.org/) and as a Board Member and Producer for the Washington State Mr/Ms Leather Organization (http://wsmlo.org). He is also a member of Seattle Men in Leather (http://seattlemeninleather.org/) and an associate member of the Chicago Hellfire Club (http://hellfire13.org). Tony's deepest connections are with the members of his leather family, the Dragon Clan and his collared boys.

For his involvement, Tony has been twice knighted by the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle (http://imperialcourtofseattle.com) ; received the Leather Emerald Award in 2003; has been sainted by Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey of St Joan the (http://theabbey.org); adopted by Sandy Reinhardt into Mama's Family (http://mamasfamily.org/) as "Mama's Big Screen" and was most recently selected as NakedSword’s Dream Team Player for September 2008 (http://nakedsword.com).

2010 Presentations:
Bondage for CBT
-
with Derek da Silva
Tony Buff and Derek da Silva cover a range of ties and applied techniques for cock and ball bondage in this presentation. Whether used to enhance those certain parts of the male anatomy or to torture them, these simple yet fully functional ties will let you restrict, compress, pull and secure all those nasty bits. Bring a male sub or, if you’re a guy, practice on yourself. This is definitely a hands-on class with plenty of opportunity for practical application. A 6' piece of “rat tail” should allow the practice of most techniques.

Needles for Bondage - with Derek da Silva
This advanced presentation focuses on techniques applied when utilizing needles and play piercings for anchor points and bondage. Tony Buff and Derek da Silva review risks and safety considerations while applying best practices and clean/sterile techniques to demonstrate a variety of creative applications. This is an interactive lecture styled presentation without practical application. Participants are, however, encouraged to participate in other ways. Muhahaha! Please be advised, this class is intended for advanced Sm players and is not for the faint of heart.

Punching and Other Strikes - with Derek da Silva
This intermediate class covers how to throw punches and other strikes without injuring the bottom or the top (no, really, the top can get hurt by punching with bad technique). Tony Buff and Derek da Silva utilize hands, feet, elbows and knees to demonstrate a variety of strikes used to create scenes with intense physical intimacy. The anatomy for striking will be covered as well as basic safety and risk considerations. This is not hands on class, but participants are sure to discover nuances that can help propel these types of scenes to new levels.

Shibari Fundamentals I. Basics: Simple Knots, Basic 1 & 2 Column Ties, and Tie Offs for BDSM - with Derek da Silva
This is an introductory class that simplifies rope bondage down to its most basic elements. There are limitless possibilities in the creative use of few basic ties. All you really need are a couple of simple knots and a few simple ties to have a ton of fun. Tony Buff and Derek da Silva will show how most bondage is done by combining a few basic building blocks… and show very easy-to-learn ways to do them. Then they’ll show how these can be combined in endlessly creative ways. Ties covered include a simplified one-column tie, a simplified two-column tie and a basic tie off. All of these are done using only two different knots – yet they can be used in various applications, including a spread-eagle bed tie, a hog-tie, a chair tie, and many other variations.
