slave Cat

slave Cat (Southwest slave 2006) is joyfully enslaved and has been in formal service for over four years. She and Master's relationship reaches back over eight years when she became his student in the martial arts. Cat was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and has been a resident of that fine Southwestern City all her life. She is a self-described warrior slave who gratefully surrenders herself to her owner, placing her skills, power, talents, hopes, successes and fears into Master Conrads service. Upon occasion she assist her master in topping or tops herself with his approval and believes experience in that area makes her a better bottom for her owner. Her enthusiasms include the martial and erotic aspects of knife, stick and bare handed arts, where she believes she has much to learn but rejoices in that learning process. She believes that her slavery is a lifes path, not unlike that of the historical warriors who set aside their own agendas of self promotion to serve something greater than themselves. She is proud of her devotion and dedication to this path and to Master Conrad, who she has served for years, even prior to their formalizing their M/s relationship. She is also an aspiring bootblack and enjoys learning to be still in her mind, while her hands and tongue are busily polishing Master Conrad's black leather boots. Cat has been involved in the legal community in Las Vegas for nearly two decades and has worked as a legal assistant, paralegal and office manager.

Conquest and Resistance Play and Combat Sports Analogues - with Master
Resistance play is not always "hard." It is sometimes the easiest, least "edgy" play out there.

Resistance play does not necessarily involve hard body play like punching, choking and kicking; it can take place with any SM tool out there, from feathers or floggers or canes to rope and pinwheels.

Resistance play does not necessarily require a large top and small bottom. It can take place with a much physically weaker top and a much stronger bottom. Nor does it necessarily require a physically fit top or bottom.

Resistance play, done right, does NOT teach a slave or submissive in a long term relationship how to resist their dom/owner. It can be used in quite the opposite fashion to strengthen the power exchange.

Resistance play is considered by many to be a new and edgy addition to the SM toolbox. Actually, resistance play (in the form of wrestling and the pankration within the palestra), comprises perhaps the oldest identifiable SM scenes. The highly sexually charged nature of these activities, even when no overt sexual contact was occurring, was recognized by the ancients.

This surprisingly flexible and accessible form of play is largely ignored today due to misconceptions regarding safety, mind set and the expansive nature of resistance play. Class will briefly address the history of combat sport related resistance play and will focus upon the different sorts of resistance play, the mechanisms and venues through which resistance scenes are achieved, basic physiology, safety concerns, "special" grappling scenes such as scenes wherein sticks or other tools are used as assistors and the relationship reaffirmation and energy transfer which can occur in both same sex and mixed gender grappling based resistance play.

The Warrior/Slave Paradigm - with Master
Throughout history the warrior was one who set aside self in service to one the warrior perceived as greater than themselves. In this class we present the research we went through when, after petitioning for a collar, slave cat began to struggle to reconcile what she knew she had always been, a warrior, with what she knew she wanted to be, a slave in Master Conrad's service. What we found, and what will be presented, is that in history the warrior and the slave archetypes are not contrasts. While slave cat identifies strongly with the fighter, the scrapper, the warrior if you will, in this class we attempt to set aside the myth that all warriors are aggressive "fighters." A strong theme throughout the class is that all consensual, service-based slaves of today are indeed the historical model of warriors. As slaves of today also universally set aside their own lives in service to another, just as the warriors of history did.
