SO, IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME TO TRIBAL FIRE, HUH? - Tribal Fire Committee
If this is your first time to Tribal Fire, then this is the class for you. Even if you're not new, you can just come by and harrass the Tribal Fire committee! We'll go over some basic information about the weekend and the activities we have planned. You can meet some or all of the committee members so you will know who we are in case you have questions throughout the weekend. We'll be going over dungeon manners and rules. This is a great first timers class.

AARP BDSM - Karen & Michael
Have you begun to notice the dungeon is getting grey? The median age is rising? Most safety classes assume we're in our late twenties. THIS one doesn't.
Practical advice for us baby boomers.......... and things to think about as we continue to do what is is we do. Good hurts versus BAD hurts. We'll discuss accommodations we can make for ourselves and for each other. Like the top ten ways you know you MIGHT be too old:

The very nature of the art and its design has a deep connection to our leather lifestyle allowing many of us our first taste of D/s. Learn where they went and how they did it, as well as how cruising has evolved in our digital age and where it is going in the future. Understand the addiction, and desire, and how important a role it plays socially for many people. After you hear this class, I can promise you a trip to the local Wal-Mart will never be the same for you!

Balloon Fetish 101 - Buster
This class will present an overview of balloons as a fetish. We will be discussing the origins of many balloon fetishists, the different types of balloon fetish play, and popping versus non-popping. The different types of balloons used and sources of balloon fetish resources will be covered.

BALLOON BONDAGE - Buster

Bondage for CBT - Tony Buff & Derek da Silva
Tony Buff and Derek da Silva cover a range of ties and applied techniques for cock and ball bondage in this presentation. Whether used to enhance those certain parts of the male anatomy or to torture them, these simple yet fully functional ties will let you restrict, compress, pull and secure all those nasty bits. Bring a male sub or, if you’re a guy, practice on yourself. This is definitely a hands-on class with plenty of opportunity for practical application. A 6' piece of “rat tail” should allow the practice of most techniques.

BOOTBLACKING -- If it isn't dirty, you aren’t doing it right! - Master Nitemare
All you need is a pair of boots, a little polish, some sweat (and maybe a few other fluids) and you are well on your way to shining a pair of boots. This is a “how-to” class on how to do it and how to make it look good. But also, it’s about learning from others mistakes on what to do and not to do. So be prepared to get down and dirty and leave with black nails because we’re gonna shine!
This is a HANDS-ON class. So bring your boots and get ready to work. Polish and rags will be provided.

Ever have someone go “quiet” and not know what it means? Every have someone giggle while you think you are hitting as hard as you can?

Trust me, Safe Words are NOT enough. Negotiations are NOT enough. We, Bottoms and Tops must learn to “communicate” during our scenes, but in ways that don’t ruin the mood or the “space”. We have to learn to read physical language, and maybe even the language of human energies.

Hidden Prejudices against Extreme SM Play - Malik
It takes no effort to enjoy the activities we feel comfortable with, be they vanilla or kinky. That is the path of least resistance. We, BDSM and/or Leather folks who are on the fringes of society, who are rebels by nature, who chart their own journeys, must not take this path of least resistance. Many of us preach and make statements of tolerating and accepting of other people's kink, but the real test is when we actually come face to face to witness those acts that lie outside of our zone of comfort. It is important to step outside of one's own zone not only to test our resolve but also showing support to those who engage in them. After all, we are all linked by this desire to express ourselves with the acceptance of our tribe.

There are hidden or subconscious prejudices against some of the SM plays by many of us. They are steeped in ignorance, lack of understanding, pre conceived notions, arbitrary thinking or just being judgmental. Playing with blood could be one of those activities. Incorporating guns in our scenes could be another. Extra harsh beating, kicking, choking, degrading, humiliating or whipping could raise eye brows of many without that person's realization. Playing with religious, cultural, racial or ethnic symbols could also be one of those.

This class is most definitely not for faint of heart or soul. There will be a demonstration at the end of this class that will push some boundaries. There is going to be brutal scourging. There is going to be vicious whipping. The webbings of the hands shall be nailed to a cross and the blood shall flow. The energy exchange of indescribable intensity shall take place. In all of that, we shall test our resolve of tolerating and accepting. And in all this, we shall face our prejudices against non-conventional SM energy exchange and see if it makes us a better person and strengthen our collective tribe.

HUMILIATION, DEGRADATION & OBJECTIFICATION - Dr Clockwork
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt you. Or can they? This class will take a look at these taboo topics. Why is name calling and using someone as a footrest hot? Where do we draw the line between play, and a blatant disregard for human decency? Can we effectively dehumanize someone without crossing the line, and what are the repercussions of triggering a mental landmine? All of these topics will be covered and more.

Interrogation and Abduction - Hardy Haberman
Ever fantasized about being abducted, or held for interrogation by brutal guards? This workshop will explore the various fantasies as well as techniques for creating a successful interrogation and abduction scene. Stress positions, interrogation techniques, mild to wild torture that would never pass the Geneva Convention will all be included in this workshop well as the logistics and special considerations for an abduction.
This workshop will include group participation and hands on skill demonstrations.

JEALOUSY — The Green Eyed Monster - Master Nitemare
Jealousy is defined as an emotion that refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipate loss of something that the person values, such as a relationship, friendship or love. In multi-partner, M/s & D/s, and poly households, we find the biggest problem to be one that has typically occurred since the beginning of time…. jealousy. In this class, we will learn to deal with jealousy in healthy and constructive ways. We will identify the feelings and the underlying behaviors that stem from it but more importantly, we will learn how to deal with and get past it.
In this intimate and closed class, we will share our feelings & fears and try to draw from others experiences and find new information to make those jealous feelings disappear. Please note this is a closed class and that once you are here, you’re in and what is said in class, stays in class. It’s hard to share your feelings about this topic if you can’t feel comfortable speaking freely. So please respect one another and yourself.

KNIVES - Travis Wilson

What are the considerations of moving another lover into your household? What are the pitfalls to avoid? And how easy is it, really? The Whee4 Quartet (LacySteele, JLubeJack, slaverobin and knotty janee) draw on their experiences and many, many others' to deal with these questions, and more, providing recipes for success - and failure.

Punching and Other Strikes - Tony Buff & Derek da Silva
This intermediate class covers how to throw punches and other strikes without injuring the bottom or the top (no, really, the top can get hurt by punching with bad technique). Tony Buff and Derek da Silva utilize hands, feet, elbows and knees to demonstrate a variety of strikes used to create scenes with intense physical intimacy. The anatomy for striking will be covered as well as basic safety and risk considerations. This is not hands on class, but participants are sure to discover nuances that can help propel these types of scenes to new levels.

Lamalani combines her interests in self-defense, drumming and kink to produce a workshop for lazy roughhousers. Remember Newton's third law? For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This class will cover how to hit accurately and ergonomically with little harm to the top. Lamalani will use leverage to even size discrepancies in roughhouse play which is great for scrappy bottoms! Shibari Fundamentals I. Basics: Simple Knots, Basic 1 & 2 Column Ties, and Tie Offs for BDSM - Tony Buff & Derek da Silva
This is an introductory class that simplifies rope bondage down to its most basic elements. There are limitless possibilities in the creative use of few basic ties. All you really need are a couple of simple knots and a few simple ties to have a ton of fun. Tony Buff and Derek da Silva will show how most bondage is done by combining a few basic building blocks… and show very easy-to-learn ways to do them. Then they’ll show how these can be combined in endlessly creative ways. Ties covered include a simplified one-column tie, a simplified two-column tie and a basic tie off. All of these are done using only two different knots – yet they can be used in various applications, including a spread-eagle bed tie, a hog-tie, a chair tie, and many other variations.

Side Show SM - Hardy Haberman
Whenever we play in a public play space there is an element of performance involved. Though we may not be consciously putting on a show, we are playing in an area where others can and will watch us. For me, that is part of the attraction to a public dungeon. The difference for me is similar to the difference between watching a DVD at home and going to the movies. Tribal Soul Dance - Dayvid
A Tribal Fire Signature Event

Soul Dance is a chance to escape and relax and let your soul dance. So much of the time we hold things in or just simply forget how to let go and relax. Bring your problems, bring your stress, and bring an open mind.

We like to always start out with the banishment of a problem and help you learn to let go and believe. For this we will be using sage to cleanse you and the room as well as our circle. Once we are settled in and are in a comfortable circle we will guide you through a spiritually relaxing journey where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in sprit and in strength. It will be an experience that will take you through a wide range of emotion, expression and understanding of what it means to accept your place in our community and express that in ways unlike you have in the past.

Soul Dance starts early at 9:30 and goes till lunch so we have a few hours to relive stress and play, body paints as well as other activities that we have laid out. Feel free to join us in something comfortable and loose that you won't be concerned if it becomes dirty or damaged in this experience. Since we will be in a group please refrain from bold colognes or sprays that may distract the other people in the room. Once the doors are shut clothes are an optional item and for this reason if you come late you maybe asked to wait till we can bring you into the group.

We only get what we give in this world, and that is the same in Soul Dance if you come with an open mind and a desire to learn and relax we will do our best to set your Soul a dancing. The Tribal Soul Dance is an experience supported by spiritual guides, music and our bodies to take you on a journey to help cleanse and heal your soul. It will be an uplifting experience that can help you discover more of the driving spirit within you.
